Last Minute Costume Ideas

For the longest time this month, I had no idea what I wanted to be this year for Halloween. Last year, Kayla and I were Mickey and Minnie, so it required little to no effort. All I had to do was make a tutu. This year, she has her character already, Big Boo from Orange is the New Black. Which is pretty genius. It fits her perfectly. So I'm all on my own. I didn't want to do anything too overdone, and I sure as hell didn't want to dress as a slut. I finally decided, and at the end of this post, I'll show you what I'm doing too! I figured I couldn't be the only one who is struggling with finding a Halloween costume so here is some easy, last minute DIY Halloween costumes!

Mickey and Minnie// First, you'll need a partner! I am assuming you're a girl, so all you'll have to do is wear a long sleeve plain black shirt, black leggings, a pink tutu, and mouse ears with a pink bow and you're all done!

Rosie the Riveter// This is one of the things I was going to be because it is so simple. Like this picture shows, all you need is a denim shirt, red bandana, and red lipstick. The eye lashes are definitely optional. It's cute, and really really simple and cheap!

Audrey Hepburn// This was another one of my options. For this, all you would have to do is put your hair up into a high bun, put a tiara on, some pearls, and your little black dress! And you're set!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles// This is actually what my roommate is going to be! All you need is an all green outfit, a colored bandana and three friends!

Orange is the New Black// As I mentioned, Kayla is going to be Big Boo from Orange is the New Black. She already has short hair, she's just cutting it a little more. All she's going to have to do is wear tan scrubs just like the inmates in the show.

Sugar Skull// This is what I'm going to be this year! Kayla is going to do my make up pretty similar to this! All you need is face make up, and whatever else you want to wear. I bought a shirt that has a red lace cut out of a skull on the back, and I'm wearing black leggings. You can make this all your own, which is what I like about it!
