The Ultimate College Packing List


On Saturday I promised you the ultimate college packing list, so here it is. After looking at every list on Pinterest, blogs, tumblr, and interviewing friends in college this is the list I'm using to pack for college in three weeks. It's pretty long so let's get started.

Wow that's a lot. I have no idea how I'm going to fit all of that into my parent's car. But almost everything is necessary to have a comfortable time in college/in the dorm rooms. If you check out my Dorm Supplies post, I go into a little more depth of what I already have to give you some ideas.

  2. Ally, this is such an awesome list! I went about writing mine the same way (via Pinterest and everything). Your list had some things I was missing, but mine had a few extras I thought you might want to look at:
    curling iron, deodorant, perfume, tweezers, nail clippers/files, body and hand lotions, sunscreen, bandaids, alarm clock (unless you use your phone), disinfectant wipes (I'm a clean freak, so I NEED these), and all of your personal info (!!! driver's license, student ID, insurance info, social security card, etc).

  3. This post seems familiar so I may have posted before... but i saw it in the college advice link up so im going to comment again lol. heres my advice: dont bring silverwere. I sniched mine from the cafeteria then returned it at the end of the year lol. Also a glass pryex glass (like a liquid measuring glass) is awesome. I used it to microwave everything, heat water, and cook ramen.
