How to Succeed in College

A couple of weeks ago I received a copy of Sara Laughed's brand new eBook - "How to Suceed in College: Everything that took me from a D in remedial math to As at Oxford". I read it in a day. Not only was it amazingly written, but it had SO much information that I hadn't even thought about.

Who is Sara Laughed?

"My name is Sara and I am going into my senior year at a liberal arts college in Massachusetts. I just finished my junior year abroad at Oxford University, which was one of the best experiences of my life. I love to read, write, and travel, and my favorite hobby is blogging, which I have been doing since 2012."

About the eBook:
"When I came to university, I was completely overwhelmed. There are so many facets to the American college experience, from getting motivated to writing a college paper to taking your first final exam. How to Succeed in College is an 80-page guide to every aspect of my college process, broken down into actionable steps for anyone who is currently where I was. It is designed to be easy to put into practice, both for students who are new to college and for those have been in school for a while." - Sara Laughed

I loved this eBook. Honestly, one of the best books about college and how to reach academic success (and I've read many). As you guys know, I love organizing, school stuff, and overall just learning more tips on how to be a better student. I have spent hours and hours and hours on Pinterest looking up ways to be better at note taking and studying.

I learned so much from Sara's book. I've always heard about the Cornell note taking method, but because Sara is amazing and she really wants to help people, she included a free printable for you to use to take your own notes! She also gives a great idea on exactly how to use the Cornell note taking method - besides note taking! But you'll have to read to find out!

Sara gives a few amazing ways to get motivated. Creating an motivation board and a motivation chart. Seriously, I have never heard of this and I love it. I can't wait to make my own!

Sara gives so much information on topics including motivation, procrastination, essays, in class, studying, reading, scheduling, organizing, exams and balancing it all! If you want an in-depth guide on how to really make great grades, make sure you buy Sara's eBook - How to Succeed in College

  4. This book is just oh so perfect! I can't wait to start implementing all the ideas! My favorite idea I hadn't heard of was definitely the schedule for papers- the number of pages + three is the days you work on it!
