Five Things

Summer is almost over. I've been go, go, go all week and it's definitely not going to stop next week. Between dentist, orthodontist, hair, nails and massage appointments, I'm definitely going to be busy. Not to mention family and friends are all trying to see me before I leave. I've barely started packing and I need to make sure a few weeks of blog posts are set up so I can focus on school for a couple of weeks when I get there.

Back to school is a stressful and emotional time, especially when you're moving back and forth, and getting ready to live with a random roommate. I'm extremely nervous, anxious, scared, sad and just overall emotional about leaving my house, family and of course my cats. Even though I've done it before (and many times during the year) I still don't think it's going to be easy.

1 - How to Make Your Commute Awesome// It's that time again! You're likely to be walking (me), driving or riding the bus to classes. Erica from Coming Up Roses wrote an awesome guide on how to make your commute awesome!

2 - Support// On Wednesday I shared a post about my disappointment in not getting the RA position. I received SO many comments saying readers were here for me, and not to give up. I just want to say thank you so much. It seriously means so much to me that people are out there supporting me and cheering me on! Thanks again, so much!

3 - Brighten Your Mailbox// I'm LOVING the La La website. They have so many great resources and articles for smart young women. This is a great way to brighten up your mailbox with 10 fun and insightful newsletters! Bonus points if you subscribe to my Sunday Motivation Newsletter!

4 - Buffer// I found a new social media scheduling post app called Buffer and I love it! I don't have time to be posting all day, but I know it's good for my blog (social media will seriously be the death of me). So I've been using Buffer to help me out a little bit! Just go to the iTunes app store!

5 - Goodnight Mommy// I saw this on College Prep's post this morning and as a scary movie fanatic, I cannot wait to see this! It looks so good and it's a lot different than other scary movies I've seen!

  1. Love all of these! Particularly Goodnight Mommy, it looks super great! Have you seen the Sinister series? I'm going to see the second one when it comes out next weekend, and it looks so terrifying!

  7. I totally understand your feelings about leaving- it hasn't really gotten easier for me even though I've been leaving my family for over 7 years now! Good luck with transitioning back to school!

  10. Enjoy your time at home! I had a random roommate, and everything turned out just fine! I always remember to think about my reactions, because my first one isn't always the most mature ;). This was a great post! I just started using buffer too, it's great!
You're gonna have an awesome year, think positive thoughts!
