First Week Back

Last week was SO LONG! I swear it went on forever. In addition to moving back into my dorm and starting classes, Kayla and I also bought a puppy. Saturday was also my birthday! So a lot has been going on this first week back to Greenville and ECU.

Friday and Move in Day:

I moved in on Friday the 20th. It surprisingly didn't take very long for me to get my stuff organized and put away. My family, Kayla and I went to our favorite hibachi place in Greenville. Then we went to grocery shop and bring my groceries back to my dorm.  Here's a look at what my dorm looks like: 

After I got it all finished my family left to go back to our hometown. While it was definitely hard to say goodbye, it was a lot easier to do than last year. I took a (much needed) shower and Kayla and I met up with our friend Jen to eat dinner and hang out at her house. 

Saturday the 22nd:

We got Koda! We went over to Pet Smart because we wanted to look at the puppy adoptions, not really thinking we would actually get one, but we fell in love with our baby Koda. We spent the rest of the day getting her acquainted with the house and getting everything set up for her!

Sunday through Thursday:

I started school on Monday so a lot of time was spent trying to get myself ready, class, and getting started on papers and homework. A lot of time this week also was me going back and forth on the campus shuttle bus to get to Kayla's apartment to let out Koda between classes! I think Kayla and I are getting our schedules down and learning the routine of having a new puppy! This week should definitely be better!

Friday:

Finally the weekend! Kayla and I went to Salsarita's (our fav) and took Koda on a little walk because she can't go to the dog park yet. Then we went over to our friend Jen's house to hang out with her and her puppy! 

Saturday - My birthday! 

Saturday was my birthday! I turned 20 and I feel so old! Kayla picked me up early that morning and took me back to her house to spend some time with Koda before we really started our day. We got dressed and went downtown to eat at a Mexican place called "Mi Cabana".

Later we went to Kayla's to get Koda to take her first walk around campus. She LOVED it! She had the best time! She loves people and being pet so she was having the time of her life. But within 30 minutes she was so tired. 

So we headed back to Kayla's house. We spent the rest of the night hanging out together with Jen and our puppies, eating pizza and watching Harry Potter! It was a great birthday! 

Overall, it was a good week! I can't wait until my routine and schedule is smooth and I get used to everything!
