Movies to Watch During Fall

As I'm sure you know by now, I love fall. I've made many many posts about it and have mentioned it in many of my five things posts for weeks now. As we're approaching Halloween (9 days!!!) I keep getting more and more excited! Every night I sit in my dorm bed, with homework done and out of the way before 8:00PM, with a piping hot apple cider and a scary/Halloween movie on! I've compiled a list of 9 of my favorites (one for each night!).

1 - Halloweentown// My love for Halloweentown is just too much for words. It's not even for the story line, and it's certainly not for the acting in the movie, but it's mainly because I watch it so many times and it's become a tradition!

2 - Hocus Pocus// I love this movie! It has the perfect amount of Halloween and suspense! I love the plot of the movie. As many times as I've seen this, I still feel the suspense!

3 - Halloween// I mean, how could you not watch Halloween? It's just a classic. I'd recommend a snuggle buddy though.

4 - Paranormal Activity// I've never seen the first one, but I haven't seen any of the other ones after that! I'm making it my mission to watch it within the next 9 days!

5 - Shutter// Honestly, this movie messed me up in so many ways. I watched it when I was younger so I hadn't seen too many scary movies before this and all I can say is that, it's really really really really scary. Do not watch alone.

6 - Beetlejuice// Another classic. It comes on ABC Family on Halloween so tune in then!

7 - Nightmare Before Christmas// I like this movie a lot, but it's my least favorite out of my 9. I find it gets kind of slow after a while. But still a good movie!

8 - The Little Vampire// Another classic. They play this every year on Halloween on Disney Channel and I love it! The little boy is just too cute!

9 - The Uninvited// This is the first scary movie I ever saw. I saw it with my current roommate/best friend probably in the 6th/7th grade. And it was pretty scary, and the ending is absolutely insane. But I haven't seen it in a while, so I'd like to watch it again!

What are your favorite fall/Halloween/scary movies?

  1. Great picks! I've really been wanting to watch Beetlejuice again lately ... hopefully it's on Amazon or Netflix or something!
