1 - Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky// This book is my all time favorite book. It changed me in ways I can't even explain. I relate to Charlie in ways I also can't explain. I watched the movie first, and at the end Kayla and I just started BAWLING at the same time. Like ugly cry to the max crying. I fell in love with it, so I went and bought the book and read it. It was even more amazing than the movie. I definitely definitely recommend it!
2 - Silver Linings Playbook by Mathew Quick// I LOVED this book. Again, I could relate to it so much. Again, I watched the movie first and fell in love with it. I was at Barnes and Noble one night and this was on sale for $3 so I had to get it! I went home and immediately started reading and I LOVED it. And of course, after watching the movie I could picture Jennifer Lawrence as Tiffany so that helps.
3 - The Outsiders by S. E. Hinton// When I was in 8th grade we read this in class and everyone loved it. I don't know what about it made me love it so much but I did! My Tumblr name is even "Stay Golden". I've thought about changing it to Preppy Little Lesbian but I just couldn't do it. Many of my friends say Stay Golden Pony Boy after leaving. Definitely recommend.
4 - The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins// I feel like this is everyone's favorite books. But I read them a few years ago, and I could NOT put them down I read the whole series in about a week! I CANNOT wait for Mockingjay to come out in theaters! Kayla and I have seen all of them together in theaters!
5 - Looking For Alaska by John Green// I know, I know. But at least it's not Fault in Our Stars right? I loved this book! The whole time I was wondering what in the heck was going on and what happened and if I could solve it before they did!
6 - The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen// This one isn't just my favorite, but I loved all of Sarah Dessen's books! They're each so different and have amazing stories that just make you want to keep reading, and reading and reading until you realize you read the entire thing in one day!
7 - The Clique by Lisi Harrison// When I was in 5th-7th grade these were my favorite books! They were my guilty pleasure! There are about 15 of them or so and I've read them all, almost all of them twice! If you're looking for a light, fun read, read this!
8 - LA Candy by Lauren Conrad// These books are perfect beach reads! I've read all of them at the beach! I really really like these. I want to become successful like the girls in these books. It makes me can't wait to start my life and have my own apartment and job with all of the crazy drama in-between!
9 - Firefly Lane by Kristen Hannah// This book is SO long but it's really good. I read it when I was pretty young still, so parts of it I really couldn't relate to, but it was still really good and emotional. If you're 18+ it might be better than if you're younger!
Do you ever get that feeling that you take each book along with you? Well that's how I feel about these books, each of them have become a part of me.
What are your favorite books of all time? Have you read any of these books?
I remember reading The Outsiders in 8th grade! I still love it!
